No two projects are alike. There are numerous factors that contribute to the cost:

  • Current market value of materials
  • Materials used
  • Size of project
  • Layout – example: placing boards on the diagonal or curving the structure
  • Stairs
  • Handrail – length and material used
  • Amount of rock “break out” required
  • Lighting
  • Electrical

Design Process2016-02-16T00:17:15+00:00

Tate will come to your home at your convenience where he will sit and listen to the vision of your project. Tate will bring a vast portfolio of previous local projects for you to view. He will then take measurements. He will then return to his office and begin designing and pricing your project. Your project will be designed on software developed specifically for deck and outdoor living space designers and contractors. Tate will carefully bid the project using current material pricing. He will return to your home to present the bid to you. This process typically takes between 7 to 10 days, depending on the number of bids ahead of your project. Upon acceptance of the bid, you will be provided with a written quote.

Each project is uniquely designed. The materials available are as vast as the design options. Some of the most common materials are:

  • Cedar (stained to the color of your choice)
  • Redwood
  • Composite (Trex, Choice)
  • Treated pine
  • Stone
  • Brick
  • Solar Screen
  • Wrought iron
  • Cable
  • Shingles
  • Hardie products
  • Screws – no nails are used on your project
